Who We Are
Kee Shing (Holdings) Limited is an investment arm of Leung’s Family Office. Kee Shing is a well-established corporation with high reputation in the industry. Head Office located in Hong Kong, Kee Shing expanded footprint through branch and regional offices in Shanghai, Taiwan and Singapore.
Our Story
Kee Shing began its business in 1970. Mr. Leung Shu Wing, the founder of Kee Shing, set up his first trading business of electroplating chemicals and materials in Shamshuipo, a well-known district in Hong Kong where accommodated a mass of small-and-medium-sized factories during 1970s.
After years of business diversification and expansion, Kee Shing Group became one of the leading metal and chemical traders in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Mainland China, Thailand and South Korea, engaging into trading electroplating chemicals and materials, high-grade stainless steel, paint and coating chemicals, as well as petroleum special chemicals. In 1987, Kee Shing (Holdings) Limited registered in Hong Kong with limited liability was established as an investment holding company and was publicly listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in October 1988.
After 22-years being publicly listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange, in October 2010, Kee Shing (Holdings) Limited (registered in Hong Kong with limited liability) carried out a transaction of Group Reorganization of which a third party offered to acquire all public-listed shares from shareholders. Simultaneously, Mr. Leung Shu Wing and his daughter, Ms. Marina Leung, formed a new company named Merit Gala Limited (registered in the British Virgin Islands with limited liability) that offered to acquire all public shares of Kee Shing Group’s subsidiaries carrying on trading business from public-listed Kee Shing (Holdings) Limited. All distributed trading business was then injected into one new setup wholly owned subsidiary named Kee Shing Investment (BVI) Limited (registered in the British Virgin Islands with limited liability). In January 2011, Merit Gala Limited, representing as an investment holding arm for Leung’s Family Office, privatized Kee Shing Investment (BVI) Limited. In November 2013, Kee Shing Investment (BVI) Limited was officially changed its name to Kee Shing (Holdings) Limited (registered in the British Virgin Islands with limited liability).
